1993 Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster, an early Custom Shop example from a period that helped establish Fender’s reputation for producing some of the finest vintage-inspired instruments available anywhere.

Built to capture the feel, tone, and aesthetics of a golden-era pre-CBS Stratocaster, this guitar embodies everything players love about the iconic 1960 model. From its comfortable neck profile and effortless playability to its unmistakable Stratocaster chime and responsiveness, this is an instrument that immediately feels familiar and inspiring in hand.

The trio of vintage-style single-coil pickups delivers classic Strat tones in abundance glassy neck pickup warmth, articulate in-between positions, and the cutting bridge pickup sounds that have defined countless recordings over the past six decades. The guitar is remarkably dynamic and expressive, rewarding both subtle touch and aggressive playing styles.

Early Fender Custom Shop instruments have become increasingly desirable among collectors and players alike. Built in relatively small numbers and crafted before the extensive expansion of the Custom Shop program, guitars from this era possess a unique charm and character that many enthusiasts actively seek out today.

The craftsmanship throughout reflects Fender’s commitment to recreating the finest details of its most celebrated vintage instruments. From the finish work and neck shaping to the fretwork and overall feel, this Stratocaster delivers the look, sound, and playing experience that made the originals legendary.

The guitar is in excellent condition, showing only light signs of use. It has been well cared for and remains clean, original, and highly playable. Includes the original Fender hardshell case.
