A well-played vintage Fender Stratocaster with nearly 70 years of history behind it. This example features a 1956 body paired with a 1957 neck, offering a distinctive combination of mid-’50s Fender character and a rare 1 3/4″ nut width C Neck.
The V-shaped neck has substantial depth, measuring .937″ at the first fret and .998″ at the 12th fret. The guitar has been refretted by Gil Chavez of Valley Arts fame, and the middle pickup has been rewound. All electronics and hardware remain original, with the exception of the replacement tremolo bar.
Showing plenty of honest play wear throughout, this Stratocaster has clearly been played and loved for decades. Weighing in at just 7.5 lbs, it offers classic mid-’50s Fender feel with a particularly spacious neck profile.
Includes a non-original molded Fender case.
