2024 Gibson Custom Shop ’59 Standard Les Paul R9 VOS – Bourbon Burst!

A fantastic example of Gibson Custom Shop’s recreation of the legendary 1959 Les Paul Standard. This R9 features the classic combination of a figured maple top, mahogany body, and a pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 humbuckers, with Gibson’s VOS treatment giving the instrument a subtly aged, vintage-inspired appearance.

This guitar is in excellent condition, with only one small ding on the top, shown in the photos. Weighing in at 8.5 lbs, it has a comfortable, authentic-feeling late-’50s neck profile and all the tone and feel you’d expect from a modern Custom Shop R9.
