Morgan Custom Shop PR12 LAVG Guitar Amplifier Head and Kerry Wright Tribute 1×12 Cabinet w/ Celestion G12 65 – With New Switchable Lead Circuit!

Here we have an awesome rig from a collaboration with Joe Morgan. Introducing the Morgan Custom Shop PR12 LAVG. This head is paired with our Kerry Wright Tribute 1x12 cabinet loaded with a Celestion G12 65 speaker. These cabs are made exactly to Kerry's specs using the same materials from the same vendors. Cabinets come with both open and closed backs for added flexibility. The Rig is also available with a matching Kerry Wright Tribute 2x12 Offset cabinet for an upcharge.

The LAVG PR12s are the standard PR12 from Morgan Amps that really maximizes the clean head room and lush reverb of the original Princeton Reverb circuit it was designed for.

The LAVG model incorporates the switchable lead circuit that was used by many of the Wrecking Crew artists. This lead removes the reverb from the circuit and uses those tubes for a big lead boost.

Based around the small American 12W combo from the 60’s. It has been updated with a bigger power supply and tightened low end . This amp incorporates all of the mods I have been asked to do on those old 60s American amps to make them more usable for live performances. The PR12 starts with the classic black face tone and then beefs up the low end by giving the power supply of the amp more juice so that it doesn’t fart out like the originals. The reverb has also been modified to add a Dwell control. The Dwell control allows you to control the amount of decay in your reverb. This allows you to have a very high reverb mix without washing out your guitar tone. The bass and treble controls interact with each other to give you a wide range of tones. As with all Morgan Amps the PR12 LOVES pedals and works well with any pedalboard. The PR12 is small footprint grab and go head that will cut through any mix and is loud enough to get over drummer.
