L.A. Vintage Gear Purchase Policy
- To HOLD any item, we require a 20% deposit, refundable as non-transferable store credit only.
- There Will Be No Refunds on Items Held For Over 48 Hrs
- 48 Hour Approval Period on Guitars only.
- All Amps, Effects and Keyboard sales are Final. With the Exception that the item is deemed defective and proven as such.
- All Purchases made by credit card must have the same shipping and billing address. Credit card purchase over $500. Must be backed up with a drivers license matching the delivery address
- All International orders require payment via Bank Wire Transfer.
Return Policy
- Any Guitar Returns must be authorized by the store.
- Guitars returned within the 24-hour approval period are refunded in full, MINUS shipping charges.
- Instrument must be returned in same condition as shipped.
- Amplifiers and effects are non returnable and non refundable.
- Buyer is responsible for the instrument during approval period.
- Clothing items are non-refundable
- Shipping and related expenses are non-refundable.
- Buyer pays for prompt return shipping.
- Item must be shipped back via a service comparable with which it was delivered, immediately upon return authorization.
- Returns outside the above outlined conditions will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Exceptions to Our Return Policy
Heavily discounted sale items are non-returnable. These are often being sold below cost and are considered “all sales final”.
Guitar strings, picks, and other disposable merchandise
Guitar or bass pickups that have been installed or altered in any way.
Any used gear (no returns unless condition of product was misrepresented on the site or product was damaged in transit and no manufacturer warranty)
Any customer special requested or custom ordered items (such as non-LAVG exclusive Morgan Amps, custom Xotic guitars, custom Mario Martin guitars etc), any custom order requires a $500 non-refundable deposit that will be removed from the balance of the order. Balance due in full upon completion or the item and deposit will be forfeited.
Shipping
- We ship UPS delivery exclusively for Domestic Shipping. Faster Service via UPS, including overnight, is available upon request.
- We ship UPS International Priority exclusively for International Shipping.
- International Customers please note: Any additional fees including duties,VAT or any other charges related to international shipping are the responsibilityof the purchaser & are non-refundable.
- All Shipping and Related Costs are at the expense of the buyer.
- Amplifier Related insurance coverage and claims are the responsibility of the buyer.
- When shipping instruments to us, if you are not familiar with shipping requirements/procedures, call store for proper packing instructions.
- Guitars and Amplifiers purchased on Friday or Saturdays will ship the following Monday.
Custom Orders
- Custom orders require a $500 non-refundable deposit.
There are no refunds, cancellations, or returns of custom orders. All lead times are approximate and are subject to vary.
- Balance due in full upon completion or the item and deposit will be forfeited.
Layaway Policy
• All Sales Final on Layaway Purchases. No Returns/No Exceptions!!
- 20% Minimum Down Payment Required.
- Down payment is Refundable as non-transferable store credit only.
- Balance must be paid off within 30 days.
- There is No 24 Hour Approval Period on Layaways. •
