Check out this rare & sought after piece of  vintage gear in EXCELLENT CONDITION with  Footswitch Included..... a 70's Mu-tron Biphase Effects Pedal used & owned by illustrious session guitarist ELLIOTT RANDALL ; this was used for the guitar solo on the Steely Dan Song 'Green Earrings'Letter of Authentication Signed by Elliot Randall Included!  Elliott is also the guitarist on the Classic Steely Dan Song "Reelin in The Years".

Known for his work with  The Doobie Brothers, Tom Rush, Elkie Brooks, Carly Simon, Carl Wilson, Peter Wolf, Peter Frampton, James Galway, Steely Dan,  Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and The American Symphony Orchestra, among many others. Elliott was also a music consultant for the American late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live and for American film director, screenwriter and producer Oliver Stone and did projects with music producers Gary Katz, David Kershenbaum, The Tokens, Steve Lillywhite, Eddie Kramer and Jerry Wexler.

Overview

Mu-tron (short for Musictronics) developed a series of highly innovative effects throughout the '70s, including the popular Mu-Tron III envelope filter. The Mu-tron Bi-Phase was a two channel Phase shifter with two "Sweep Generator" sections. This pedal was made with either a two-button or an optical pedal.The optical option is worth slightly more.
