The Steinberger XL-2 is a landmark headless bass designed by Ned Steinberger and produced in Japan during the 1980s. Known for its compact graphite construction, exceptional stability, and distinctive ergonomics, the XL-2 remains one of the most recognizable bass designs of the era.
This example is in very good vintage condition, with noticeable cosmetic wear from years of use, while remaining fully functional. It features the original Steinberger pickups and electronics, including a single tone control, along with the standard fixed Steinberger bridge. Includes a non-original gig bag.
