1978 Fender Musicmaster Short Scale Guitar – Great Player Grade Fender!

The Musicmaster is known for its simple, stripped-down design and surprisingly punchy tone. The single coil pickup delivers clear, articulate sounds with a raw edge that records incredibly well and cuts through a mix, while the added Seymour Duncan Mini Humbucker gets you all the bridge pickup bite and clarity you could want. Two mini toggles have been added to give it Mustang style wiring, allowing for great Series/Parallel tones.

The guitar outside of the mods is in very good condition for it’s age. There are several nicks, dings, and finish wear consistent with age and use. Neck feels great and plays cleanly up the board. Frets show some wear but still have plenty of life left.

These late-’70s Musicmasters have a vibe all their own, no-frills and full of character. Perfect for studio use, indie/garage tones, or anyone looking for an affordable vintage Fender with personality.
