A great recreation of the Linear Power Boost by British session guitarist Owen Barry (Tal WIlkenfeld).... Here is an OTB Custom Boost Pedal!
"This is my recreation of the vintage linear power boost circuit with some updates. I painstakingly tested dozens of different transistors and capacitors until I landed on this specific configuration of NOS parts that gives just the right amount of volume boost in conjunction with a touch of "vintage dirt". This ain't no clean boost!
Perfect for hitting the front end of an already broken up amp, or pushing an overdrive pedal into screaming lead tones, this is the pedal that gets it done for me.
You'll find you get just the right amount of juice with the control knob set fairly low... I rarely go above the 12 o'clock position.
