Ernie Ball Music Man 1991 EVH Wolfgang Electric Guitar – Black Translucent Finish

Here we have a now iconic guitar...a 1991 Ernie Ball Music Man EVH Electric Guitar with what is referred to as a 'Trans Black Finish' (translucent black).  They produced approximately 6000 of these guitars from approximately January of 1990 to September of 1995 when the last one rolled out the door.  The estimate was about 1,200 per year although that would put the number closer to 7,000. Hand crafted during Music Man's five-year association with Eddie Van Halen, this instrument is truly top-of-the-line in every aspect. The quilt maple top is finished in a very cool Translucent Black Finish.  A fast-playing gunstock oil and wax neck finish ensures comfortable feel all across the neck. Dual custom-wound DiMarzio EVH humbuckers are wired to a three-way switch, then to a master Volume control (marked "Tone", just like Eddie's) for simple operation. The Floyd Rose locking bridge and nut combine with Schaller tuners to ensure you'll always be in tune. A must-have for any EVH collector, this instrument is truly ready to rock!
