Park PMV50 Head & 2×12 Cab in White Tolex with Blue Grill Cloth

Here we have a new offering from illustrious amp builder Mitch Colby..... Park MV50 Head & 2x12 Cabinet in Custom White Tolex & Blue Grill Cloth outfitted with Vintage Tubes from our collection,  and 2 x 12" Celestion G12M Greenback Speakers . This amp is a recreation of the 1980s “800” Master Volume amp used extensively for touring and recording. This new Park version has been slightly modified to offer a bypassable effects loop and an expanded tonal range.

The front panel features the controls normally found on the vintage Park Master Volume amp including Gain, Master, Treble, Mid, Bass and Presence. Additions include two push-pull pots for Bright and Punch. Many people found the vintage versions of the MV amp to be too bright. In the new MV50, the brightness has been decreased but you can select that extra brightness by using the Push-Pull pot. In certain applications the vintage MV amps didn’t have enough low mids and bottom. The second Push-Pull takes care of that.

The Park MV50 is the first newly made Park amp with a high quality PC board. This was used for historical purposes as the original vintage Master Volume amps also used PC boards. Because of advances in available technology, the one used in this new amp is of much higher quality and uses much thicker traces for reliability.
