Check out this classic vintage Black Beauty from one of Gibson’s golden eras, this 1970 Les Paul Custom features a black finish, ebony fingerboard, and traditional block inlays. Weighing in at 10.6 lbs, it delivers the substantial feel and timeless aesthetic associated with these late-’60s and early-’70s Customs. This guitar comes to us from the collection of Allen Hinds, like all of Allens guitars it plays well and sounds phenomenal.
This example has been refretted and fitted with Throwback SLE-101 pickups, with the original patent-number pickups included in the case. The tuners have been changed, and a couple of former mini-toggle switch holes have been filled and finished over. The guitar has no breaks and comes with its original hardshell case.
