1965 Gibson EB-0 Electric Bass – Great Project Bass!

Check out this 1965 Gibson EB-0 bass being offered as-is. This is a great candidate for restoration or a player-grade project, with tons of vintage vibe and that unmistakable Gibson low-end thump.

The EB-0 is known for its short scale feel and powerful “mudbucker” pickup, delivering deep, warm tones that sit perfectly in a mix. This example retains its core vintage character but will require a neck reset (see photos) to reach proper playability.

Project condition. The neck angle is off and will need a proper reset. Cosmetic wear throughout checking, dings, and finish wear consistent with age. Hardware and components show typical vintage aging. Sold strictly as-is with no returns.

Mid-’60s Gibson basses continue to climb in value, and this is a chance to get into a true vintage piece at a more accessible price. With the right work, this could be a fantastic sounding and playing instrument. Includes a chipboard case.
