A rare, limited-production instrument from Williams Guitars USA, this 2023 Western PA model is one of only three produced — a thoughtfully executed, boutique interpretation of early American electric guitar design, built with a clear emphasis on resonance, material quality, and nuanced feel.

At just 6.5 lbs, the guitar is notably lightweight, owing to its chambered construction with a solid rosewood core. The tonal character is immediately apparent acoustically: open, lively, and responsive. Plugged in, that translates into exceptional articulation and dynamic sensitivity, with a broad harmonic range that rewards a light touch but holds together under more aggressive playing.

The build centers around a premium birdseye maple top and back over the rosewood core, paired with a matching birdseye maple neck. The 25.5” scale length adds snap and clarity, while the Indian rosewood fingerboard — inlaid with mother-of-pearl diamonds and squares — provides a familiar, broken-in feel. Jescar medium frets and a carefully executed setup result in low action and a notably easy playing experience, enhanced further by the reduced string tension over the aluminum bridge.

Tonally, the Gabojo Dynasonic-style pickups deliver a wide, piano-like low end with crisp attack and airy high-end detail. They capture the immediacy and percussive quality of early single-coil designs while offering a slightly more refined and balanced response. Clean tones are dimensional and expressive; with gain, the guitar retains clarity and note separation without becoming brittle.

A vintage Bigsby B6 adds subtle expressive capability, complementing the instrument’s overall feel without overpowering it. Hardware choices throughout — including the aluminum bridge and nut, CTS 250k pots, CRL 3-way switch, and Switchcraft jack housed in an Electrosocket — reflect a deliberate, no-compromise approach to both tone and reliability.

Visually, the aged nitrocellulose lacquer finish shows tasteful checking throughout, giving the guitar a naturally broken-in appearance that aligns with its vintage inspiration rather than feeling artificially distressed. Handmade redwood pickup rings and pickguard add an organic, custom touch that distinguishes it from more conventional builds.

The overall body size and feel sit in familiar territory — loosely reminiscent of a Les Paul imprint — but the chambered construction and longer scale length create a distinctly more open and responsive playing experience.
