This is Magnatone Model 260 was a 35 watt, 2×12 speaker two channel combo amplifier built in Inglewood, California from 1957 to 1962. It’s in good working order, appears complete and largely original, and sounds amazing. The speakers are  original Oxfords - 12". This amp uses 3x 12ax7 preamp tubes and for power, a pair of 5881 tubes, 2x 6CG7's, 1x 5e4G.

"Magnatone built electric guitars – both ES or Electric Spanish and EH or Electric Hawaiian models – as well as amplifiers, as the Magna company. Some of their 1950’s guitar models, in particular the Mark III, were designed by Paul Bigsby. By 1957, Magna was pushing heavily into professional grade amplifiers that included a vibrato circuit. This included the Magnatone Model 260 and its larger relative, the 50-watt Model 280."

"The watery, warbling “true vibrato” that the larger Magnatones are capable of producing is never forgotten by players fortunate enough to have experienced it."
