With it’s solid Sitka Spruce top with solid African Mahogany back and sides, the D-40 Standard serves up remarkable volume, clarity, and sustain that’s perfect for anything from vocal accompaniment to solo work, and many other “unplugged” applications. The D-40 Standard manifests vintage charm with timeless appointments such as a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding, and Guild’s peak logo inlay on the headstock.
