Carondelet OTB Ultimates PAF – “Grail” Covers, Just In!

Just in! We just took in our first stock of the new OTB Ultimates PAF sets. These new pickups are the result of 6 months of intensive prototyping and testing between guitarist Owen Barry and Jeff from Carondelet. The end product speaks for itself. The OTB ultimates have the tone and tactility of the original PAF sticker humbuckers from Gibson between 1957 and 1961. These pickups tweak the historic recipe, calibrating each pickup for its position on the guitar and faithfully recreates that glassy vintage PAF tone. The bridge position reads at 8.2k and the neck reads 7.0k. Both use rough cast Alnico V magnets, historically accurate coil wire, plastics and metallurgy; two-conductor braided shield leads and are unpotted like the originals. These sets feature the “grail” covers made from a 3D scan of an actual 1959 Gibson PAF cover.
