2019 Collings 01 12-String – Amazing Small Body 12 String!

Here we have an awesome sounding and playing Collings 01 12-sting.  Combining the timeless appearance and enduringly popular tone of the “0” body style with a 12-string configuration has resulted in this unique model.  The 0 12-String has exceptional note separation with a quick attack and beautiful harmonic complexity. The smaller body dimension and short 24 7/8″ scale also impart a percussive quality to the note attack that makes this an excellent fingerstyle and recording guitar. Producing a sound and feel all its own, the 0 12-string brings something new to this classic design. Comes with original hardshell case.

While all three models share the same body dimensions, key differences are outlined below.

• Our 1-style (01) features Honduran mahogany back and sides with tortoise body binding and ebony butt wedge, b/w/b/w top purfling, a walnut backstrip, dot fingerboard inlays, and a simpler 1-style rosette.
• Our 2-style (02H) features East Indian rosewood back and sides with ivoroid body binding and butt wedge, herringbone top purfling, a “zipper” backstrip, diamonds and squares fingerboard inlays, and a more intricate 2-style rosette.
• Our 3-style (03) features East Indian rosewood back and sides with ivoroid body/fingerboard/peghead binding and butt wedge, no herringbone top purfling, a “chevron” backstrip, no fingerboard inlays, and an abalone rosette.
