1973 Marshall JMP Lead and Bass 1964 50 Watt Head – 1 Lead Channel & 1 Bass Channel!

Here we have an Marshall JMP Small Box 50 Lead and Bass Head Model number 1964. One of the less common yet most versatile of the JMP amps, the Marshall Model 1964 Lead & Bass 50 sports one channel of 1987 Lead and one channel of 1986 Bass. This amp is in overall very good shape for it’s age. There is an extra hole drilled in the back of the chassis from a previous mod that has been undone. Chassis is mostly original with only the needed filter caps changed during routine maintenance.  The chassis is held in a reproduction small box headshell. The amp features it’s original Drake transformers and it’s original 2 prong power cord. It sounds incredible. There’s nothing like the natural overdrive from these amps.
