1961 Fender Champ 5F1 – Killer Tweed Tones!

Check out this 1961 Fender Champ from the collection of Mark Goldenberg. Los Angeles–based guitarist, composer, songwriter, and producer with a long professional touring and recording career. Mark has played on records and tours with artists including Jackson Browne (lead guitar, 1994–2010), Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt and Eels to name just a few.

In addition to his guitar work, Mark is a songwriter and producer whose music has been recorded by Linda Ronstadt, Chicago, the Pointer Sisters, Natalie Imbruglia, Eels, Chris Botti, and Olivia Newton-John.

Mark is “ thinning the herd “ so to speak. Great clean gear.

This Champ is in great shape for it’s age. It features it’s original transformers and speaker and has been expertly maintained. The needed capacitors have been changed and it has been upgraded to a 3 prong power cable.
